Here HSPA + Multiflow pending 4G
Nokia Siemens will demonstrate its HSPA + Multiflow at Mobile World Congress to be held at the end of the month in Barcelona. The company is able to simultaneously use two cellular towers for transmission of a signal HSPA + (3G + +) , which would double the available bandwidth and response time 50% higher. In addition, Nokia Siemens says this technology allows the towers to unload the most stressed and better distribute the load on the network.
The presentation will use a dongle at MWC Qualcomm and Nokia Siemens equipment. The great attraction of this technology and it can increase the throughput without requiring a significant investment that the LTE network. According to preliminary information provided by Nokia Siemens, HSPA + compatible equipment could handle the Multiflow using a simple software update. HSPA + Multiflow should be standardized and be added to 3GPP by mid-2012.
