Glasses Google Android this year
Rumors are increasingly insistent, Google could offer this year ... Android glasses. The idea is to really take advantage of technologies such as augmented reality, a buzzword that brings together all the technologies that interact directly with our environment. Currently, augmented reality is mostly available in games, but some more practical examples also exist, such as software that analyze the environment to display arrows at a subway, for example.
The idea of proposing a dedicated device for augmented reality in the form of telescope is quite logical: the technology uses a camera, sensors (gyros, etc..) And often a GPS, but does not require direct interaction with the person , the voice can be enough.
The glasses would be based on a smartphone platform - estimated price (far) from 250 to 600 U.S. dollars - and 3G is the part, as a small screen. Apart from the form, the device would eventually be little different from a current device, and is very well adapted for sailing and helping people.
Remains to be seen the final design, ergonomics - an important point - and if this kind of device, which resembles a science-fiction accessory, is accepted by the public.
