The BAP 65-125-XXFT series rugged, industrial quality dc/dc converters deliver up to 1,000−W continuous output power. The 155 x 64 x 300−mm sized units deliver 24-V/40-A or 48-Vdc/20-A output and accept input voltages of 110 Vdc or 125 Vdc. Other input/output values are also available.

The converters are rated for full specification from 0º to 50C. They meet EN61373/IEC61373 shock and vibration standards and are filtered to meet EN 55022 Class A EMI requirements. Protection includes inrush current limiting, reverse polarity protection, and continuous current limiting with short-circuit protection with no hiccup. Efficiency is typically 85% at full load. Output ripple/noise is less than 1% peak-to-peak and combined line/load regulation of less than ±1% from zero-load to full load. An optional built-in redundancy diode allows for parallel and n+1 operation. An output fail alarm is also available.
