The HBC 500 industrial grade ac/dc power supply series generates 500-W output from a 132 x 64 x 300-mm enclosure. The power supplies feature a redundant terminal via a built-in redundancy diode and non-redundant, direct terminal. Voltage on the redundant output is 24 Vdc/20 A, 48 Vdc/10 A or 125 V/4 A. The direct terminal output voltage is one diode drop higher or 24.7 V/20 A, 48.7 V/10 A, and 125.7 V/4 A.

The power supplies can be used in redundant parallel mode or for battery charging on the redundant output. The direct output can be used for monitoring or for <1% regulation. The input accepts 230/115 Vac or 220 to 370 Vdc. Protection features include inrush current limiting, surge, and reverse polarity protection on the input. Output protection includes current limiting with short-circuit protection (no hiccup) and thermal shutdown with self-resetting.
